PROJECT OVERVIEW

A state-of-the-art automated distribution center situated on the riverfront. Designed for 24/7 operations with high-bay storage and automated guided vehicle (AGV) paths.

The Challenge

Poor soil conditions near the riverbed required extensive ground improvement and deep pile foundations to support the heavy industrial loads.

The Solution

We installed over 2,000 driven piles and utilized a vibro-replacement stone column technique to stabilize the soil. The slab-on-grade was reinforced with steel fibers to support heavy racking loads.
